Welcome to The Fergy Farm!
We are the Fergy Family!
Doug and Jamie are daddy and momma, we are blessed with 9 children so far with 8 still at home. Our oldest is 22,serving our great country in the United States Air Force, next is our 20 yo, she is momma's right arm and putting into practice her own home making skills, next our first son at just about 14 is a jokester, also learning to work together with his younger siblings to make the work easier. Next is our 11yo son, a kind loving brother and a 7 yo daughter is next, she is a delight and very hard working. Then our next son is 5, a sweet gentleman and protector, then our 2 and 3 yo daughters are very playful and sweet, and our youngest is just 5 mos.
We are a Catholic family who tries to live our faith each day. It isn't always easy but with Jesus and His Blessed Mother by our side we keep striving to do better. Our goals for our family are many, though I will make it short. First, to live each day to its fullest. Giving thanks for each other and all we have been given. Next, to teach our children to Know, Love and Serve God. That begins at home. Knowing God is seeing Him in each one of us. Loving Him is loving each other as children of God. Serving Him is serving each other before ourselves. Our goals in regards to our farm are to live, work and pray as one. What does that mean? It means eventually to bring daddy home fulltime to run the farm. Until then we are blessed to have him home much of the time working from his home office. This works well, to have him working while the children are doing their own work... school. He is there for support and guidance which is so important.
We enjoy doing most everything together... a joke in our home is daddy and momma actually like each other. A sad fact today is so many married people are in the buisiness of being married and not really in love with each other or having any concern for their spouse's soul. Our children work best along side of us( although not always possible) so we hope to teach the children a strong work ethic and servants hearts. We are very grateful for our many blessings, both the children and being able to raise them in such a wholesome enviornment. We hope this gives you a glimpse of who we are and what we are about. If we can serve you in some way, please let us know.
May God richly bless you!
